This year we have been building the new dormitory as the funds come in. Our goal has been that our fundraising would stay just ahead of construction so that we do not have to stop our building progress. However, we have just spent the last of our construction cash to finish the first floor foundation and columns .
The next step is to put the beams and floor in for the first floor and to do that the contractor needs to
finish this phase without stopping!
We asked our contractor what it would cost to not only to finish the next floor foundation but also to wall up the ground floor. If we walled it in then by the next conference we could put pastors on cots in the building rather than under tents. The cost for this is $50,000.00
What a challenge, but as I have said at each step our 3 year, #Flight2018 Vision ~
God’s Got This!
A generous donor has stepped forward to offer Mission Barnabas a Spring Matching Funds Challenge! Whatever is given or pledged to Mission Barnabas between now and April 7th and then paid by April 15 ~ all these donations will be matched up to $25,000.00!! (Why, yes – it is a tax-deductible gift!)
What a blessing and miracle this would be if by the June conference (expecting approximately 1,000 pastors) it could house the overflow. AND this will allow us to
KEEP BUILDING THIS DORM!
We challenged the 500 pastors at the conference last Wednesday night and they responded with cash and pledges amounting to…. are you ready for this?… they gave $6,000.00!
So we are on our way and once our MB friends and supporters respond I believe we will reach this goal.
Please let me know (private message me, email me, text, call, or make a donation now) and we will keep everyone informed as the amount grows. What a blessing knowing that what you give will be doubled.
Thank you in advance,
Ronnie and Debbie
